TNotes program for traffic program bombs out after you place the first note
The work around for now is to place all the other notes first and then place the
first note by hand.

Can't start NCMAP
Unlike V7 in V8 in order to access NCMAP you must be in the Location and Survey Workspace. So the easiset thing to do is to exit out of your drawing and open it again making sure to select the Location Workspace from the MSStart dialog.
