Mission:The mission of the Office of Civil Rights & Business Opportunity and Workforce Development Section is to advocate, administer, implement, and monitor the Department of Transportation's external equal employment opportunity programs which include the following: the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program for federal aid projects, the Title VI program as prescribed for recipients of federal funds, and the development of minority-owned, and women-owned business enterprise programs on state-funded projects.
