The culvert criteria is designed for use by the Structure Design Unit. It offers the ability to draw multiple barrel culverts, with variable side clearance, variable sheet pile heights and variable catch slopes. This criteria is configured to run with or without shapes.
The grade point is located at the center of the box at finished floor. The barrel widths are uniform and set by dividing the available width by the number of barrels specified. The available width is determined by subtracting the appropriate wall thicknesses from the user defined out-to-out width.

User Defined Variables
"CV01 OUT2OUT WIDTH"
Define as the total desired width of the box culvert.
"CV01 NUMBER OF BARRELS"
Gee, what could this possibly be?
"CV01 BOTTOM SLAB DEPTH"
Define in feet or meters. Default definition = 1 foot
"CV01 BARREL HEIGHT"
Define as the height of the barrels from floor to ceiling.
"CV01 WALL THICKNESS"
Define as feet or meters. Default definition = 0.667
"CV01 TOP SLAB THICKNESS"
Define in feet or meters. Default definition = 1 foot
"CV01 LEFTSIDE CLEARANCE"
"CV01 RIGHTSIDE CLEARANCE"
Define side clearances in feet or meters. Default definition = 1.5 feet.
"CV01 USE SHEETPILE ON LEFT SIDE"
"CV01 USE SHEETPILE ON RIGHT SIDE"
To force use of sheet pile, define as non-zero. Default definition is 1
"CV01 LEFT MAX PILE HEIGHT"
"CV01 RIGHT MAX PILE HEIGHT"
Defined for the maximum height of sheet piling. If the depth of cut is less than the maximum pile height, the sheet pile will extend up to natural ground. Otherwise, a slope is drawn from the top of the pile to natural ground.
Default definition is 5 feet.
"CV01 LEFT CUT SLOPE"
"CV01 RIGHT CUT SLOPE"
When cut depth exceeds the maximum sheet pile height, the value of the slope is defined by these variables. The default definition is 2.
The following variables are local versions of global variables. They define standard level/symbology values that should usually remain static. These variables are listed here for documentation and thereby make them available for pre-definition over-rides.
