2004 Awards for Division 13
Roadside Environmental Unit

The 2004 North Carolina Vegetation Management Association Conference was held in Raleigh on December 6th thru 10th. Division 13 received the following awards;

The I-26 Open Cut received the Second Place Award for "Best Overall Division Program"
For the sixth year in a row, Division 13 also won the "Best Regional Planting" award for the interchange of I-40 at exit 100, Jamestown Rd., in Burke County.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation presented two Rest Area Maintenance awards for Non Interstate Facilities. One was presented to L.L. Moore Landscapes for grounds maintenance, and the other was presented to Contract Service and Supply, Inc. for janitorial maintenance.
