Division Maintenance Engineer - David L. Thomas, PE


     The Division Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintenance of all state roadways within the six (6) counties of Division 3; improvement of secondary roads; small improvement projects and acts as a liaison with the public. Oversees three District offices, the Bridge Maintenance Unit and the Equipment Unit.

      The District Offices are responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Outdoor Advertising, Junkyard Control, Driveway Permits, Road Additions, Subdivision Review and Approval, Adopt A Highway Program, Encroachments on Highway Right of Way, Issuance of Oversize/Overwidth Permits, Paving Priorities, Secondary Road Construction Program and Road Maintenance.
