The Safety Officer, reporting to the Division, is responsible for reviewing accident and injury reports, schedules and conducts safety training, performs safety audits of facilities and operations, manages the Hazardous Wastes generated within the Division, administers the Hearing Conservation Program, serves as the Training Coordinator for the Division and other related duties. |
The Safety Engineer consults with the Division in all employee safety and health related matters; provides engineering solutions to safety issues, technical and regulatory assistance, develops and implements safety training, assurance to policies/procedures and programs in addition to other safety duties as required. The Safety Engineer also oversees Hazard Material management. |
