Division 6 Greg Burns, PE Division Operations Engineer
Division Operations includes the Division Bituminous Unit, Division Traffic Unit, Division Roadside Environmental Unit and the Division Design Unit all of which operate division-wide. The Bituminous Unit resurfaces roads within Division 6 using various types of seal treatments. The Division Traffic Unit provides traffic engineering support division-wide and is responsible for installation and maintenance of traffic signals, signing and pavement markings. The Roadside Environmental Unit performs seeding and mulching, herbicide spraying, planting and plant maintenance. Roadside Environmental also administers the Wildflower Program within Division 6 and maintains the Robeson County Welcome Center and Cumberland County Rest Areas. The Division Design Unit (DDC) develops and designs various types of roadway projects for construction within Division 6.
