DOT Public Auction: July 30, 2008 Franklin, NC The Equipment & Inventory Control Unit, along with Highway Divisions 11, 12, 13 and 14 will conduct a surplus vehicle and equipment public auction. The auction will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at the Macon County Fairgrounds from 9:00 AM until the last item is sold. The Macon County Fairgrounds is located at 1436 Georgia Road in Franklin, NC. All items can be previewed on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on location. A list of all items to be sold along with registration and payment requirements will be on this web site approximately two weeks before the auction date.
