DOT Public Auction: August 12, 2009 Sparta, NCThe Equipment & Inventory Control Unit will conduct a surplus vehicle and equipment public auction. The auction will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Alleghany Fairgrounds from 9:00 AM until the last item is sold. The Alleghany Fairgrounds is located at 1375 US Hwy 21 North in Sparta. All items can be previewed on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on August 12, 2009 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on location. A list of all items to be sold along with registration and payment requirements will be on this web site approximately two weeks before the auction date.
