Version 6.0 Changes

The Material Receipts, Pay Records, and Tickets windows have been enhanced to display the Line Item Bid Quantity and Unit Price on the General Tab. This information enables the system and the users to differentiate between Line Items with the same description. Typically this happens when Supplemental Agreement Line Items are created to back out the original Line Item and then to adjust the unit price.

The Review Material Receipts, Review Pay Records, and Review Tickets windows have all been redesigned to facilitate easier data entry. The previous selection and detail windows have been combined for each functional area so that it is no longer necessary to open a separate window to perform data entry.
Multiple rows may be inserted or updated at one time. When an update is successful, a checkmark will appear in the last display column of each row that was successfully updated. An X will appear in all rows that were not saved successfully. This column can be sorted using the click-sort functionality so that rows can be grouped together based on their update status.
Save As functionality is provided on all three windows via the Save As menu item. Whatever row is currently highlighted will be used as the base for the newly inserted row, which will appear at the top of the display grid. Key fields from the originating row will be brought forward.
A new Row column is available on all three windows. The row number will appear in warning and error messages to indicate which row or rows need to be corrected.

As a result of the implementation of Project Certification in HiCAMS, users who create Material Receipts, Pay Records, or Tickets for Materials where the Minimum Sampling Guide specifies that Certifications are required will now be required to complete the Certification information for each new entry. This will provide an electronic record of the receipt of the certification. The record will not be able to be Saved without the Certification information being entered.

On the Cont/Loc tab, the decimal point has been removed from the Station From and Station To fields. Numbers to the right of the decimal can no longer be entered.
