General - Density
Version 8.0 Changes
- Modified the window and system to allow Density test information to be recorded at the Contract level rather then by Material and Line Item. Soils Density tests will now be associated to a Soils Density Category/Sub-Category rather then to a Material/Line Item combination. The new Category/Sub-Category values are:

Version 6.2 Changes
- The staff available for selection in the Density windows now defaults to those people assigned to the office of the person who is logged in.
Version 6.1 Changes
- Field densities have been incorporated into their materials instead of being a separate material. For example, the material type "Aggregate Base Course" now has Density Other Conventional and Nuclear associated with it. On contracts which contain the Material Type "Field Density - Aggregate Base Course", any ABC densities that were run after 9/20/2006 can be entered by selecting either "Aggregate Base Course" >OR< "Field Density - Aggregate Base Course" from the Density Material dropdown.
Version 6.0 Changes
- A correction has been made to the Technician Selection window that is called from the Density, IA, Sampling and Report Functions to locate Technicians with Active/Provisional certifications. Users will be able to either enter a Technician ID or select a Technician from the staff selection window with proper validation edits.
- The Contract number is now defaulted on the appropriate Density modules when navigating from Contract Tracking windows.
- The window has been modified to prevent unnecessary messages when Voiding an Asphalt Core QC lot.
- The labels in core densities that read "Station From" have been changed to "Station" since core data represents a location rather than a lot.
Version 5.6 Changes
Version 5.3 Changes
-
The Technician Selection window has been updated to compare the
Density Test Date to the Staff Expiration Date, Technician Expiration
Date, and Certification Begin and Expire Dates. Technicians not
meeting the appropriate date criteria will no longer be available for selection.
Version 5.2 Changes
-
Added Notifications processing.
-
Changed decimal precision to 1 on Compaction % field.
-
Added a notification to all Pavement Construction Technicians when a
Generic technician is selected on a Density record. This
action will require a comment.
-
Added edits to JMF Selection in new Density windows to ensure that
only Approved/Prov Approved JMFs (as of the density test date) can be selected.
