Review Contract Times
Version 7.1 Changes
- Modified the window to allow authorized users to update the Estimated Completion Date. The date can be updated here as often as necessary without needing to create an estimate. The Estimated Completion Date value is passed to the internet for public viewing of construction progress.
Version 7.0.1 Changes
- Corrected the toolbar to display the Insert and Delete icons only when applicable.
Version 6.3 Changes
- Entry of an Estimated Completion Date for the overall contract here will now update the web information referenced by the public. Processing an estimate will automatically update the Estimated Completion Date on Review Contract Times, which, in turn will be fed to the web. This allows the public to be informed of updated Estimated Completion Date information without requiring an estimate to be processed.
Version 6.2.1 Changes
- Improved the warning message text when an Intermediate Contract Time Availability Date is set that causes its Completion Date to exceed the overall Contract Completion Date.
- Corrected the system edits to require Per Day Contract Times to have an Availability Date, Calendar Days, and Completion Date before the Contract Time can be marked as Complete.
- Added logic to create a History record when a Contract Time record is Voided, and modified the window to allow users to click on Voided Contract Times.
- Corrected a problem that periodically caused blank rows on the History tab.
- Modified the window to prevent Time Restriction Contract Time Events from being logged until after the Contract Time record itself has been saved.
Version 6.2 Changes
- Provided authorized users with the ability to Insert and Update Contract Time data directly through the Review Contract Times window, even after the Contract has been Activated. The authorized users will be select staff in the Construction Unit. The intention of this functionality is to allow select users to correct data errors that previously required HiCAMS technical support intervention.
- Added a History tab to track updates to the records.
- The General Comment field has been modified to work as an automated ongoing log. Entries will be saved with the userid and date of the save and subsequent updates will be appended to previous entries.
- Removed the Password validation pop-up window that appeared when setting the Availability Date.
- If the Work Completion Date on CT00 has not been set at the point the Acceptance Date is set on the Contract, the system will default the CT00 Work Completion Date to the Acceptance Date.
- Users may now type up to the maximum 255 characters directly in the Contract Times Event Description field. Previously, the entry was stopped at the end of the visible column width, unless the user double-clicked on the field to enter the information on the pop-up window.
- Users are now allowed to enter an Availability Date outside the Contract defined range and receive only a warning. Previously, the entry was not allowed.
- Modified the Long Description field to allow Word Wrap and provided a vertical scroll bar to enhance the visual display.
- Added a field SPECS Contract Time type to the database for future storage of the contract time type passed by the Specs system. The field is to be used only by HiCAMS support personnel and will be transparent to the general user.
Version 6.1 Changes
- The Events tab column Event Comment has be renamed Event Description, Word-wrap has been added to the right-mouseclick function, and the cursor focuses on this field when a record is inserted.
- The Dates and Damages tab has been enhanced to display Availability Date ranges when applicable.
- The window has been modified to allow a Substantial Completion Rate to be deleted or to have a value of 0.
Version 5.9 Changes
- A new field Substantial Completion Date has been added to the Dates and Damages tab to allow users to mark the date at which work associated with a contract time is considered substantially complete. This field only applies to Contract Times defined with Substantial Completion Rates.
Version 5.8 Changes
- A modification has been made to the Contract Times functionality to
update the Work Completion Date on Contract Time 00 when
the Acceptance Date is entered and approved on the Contract Details
window. The Work Completion Date should equal the Acceptance date,
but can be updated if necessary.
Version 5.6 Changes
- Functionality on this window has been corrected to prevent an
intermittent crash when entering different contract numbers while
working in the Dates and Damages tab.
- A correction was made to the window to correct a problem that
prevented the ability to delete Contract Time Events.
Version 4.4 Changes
- The label for Anticipated Completion Date has been changed to
Anticipated Revised Completion Date. This field
represents the Completion Date as it will be revised by authorized extensions
plus anticipated or pending extensions. This includes Pro Rata time extensions,
extensions provided by Article 108-10(B)5, and extensions the
Resident Engineer anticipates will be authorized.
- A new field called Estimated Completion Date has been added.
This field represents the date the Resident Engineer estimates the
work will be completed.
Version 4.2 Changes
- When you enter an Availability Date and a Completion Date, the contract Calendar Days are now calculated correctly.
Version 4.0 Changes
- Contract Times can now be checked as Not In Contract. This functionality handles
the rare circumstance when a Contract Time is removed from a contract
before the contract is let and the Intermediate Contract Times are
not renumbered by Design Services. Removing the Contract Time causes
non-sequential Intermediate Contract Time numbers in the written contract.
- The system will designate that an Intermediate Contract Time is based
on time restrictions for an Intermediate Contract Time with a
Liquidated Damages Rate Unit of Measure other than Per Day.
- Review Contract Times now displays Contract Times
created and/or modified through Supplemental Agreements. The Supplemental Agreement must be in the
Contractor Concurrence status.
- You can enter Comments related to the contract time throughout the life of the contract
to provide further information. The comment is NOT related to a specific event.
- The original Completion Date or Revised Completion Date
is automatically extended by the system and entered as the Revised
Completion Date when a claim or Supplemental Agreement granting time reaches its final status.
- Pro rata extensions manually calculated throughout the life of the contract can be used to determine the Anticipated Completion Date for contract times not related to time restrictions.
- An indicator for Completed has been added to the window. For Contract Times with a Rate Unit of Measure eqaul to Day, the indicator is automatically checked when a Work Completion Date is entered. The indicator for Contract Times with other Rate Units of Measure can be checked by the user.
- Contract Time Events can be logged on the Events tab. The event is marked as either a Violation or Incentive. Liquidated Damages for the Contract Time are calculated when a Quantity is entered. An Event Comment and Date should also be entered.
