| Beginning
with the July 2002 letting and purchase order contracts, Contractors will
be required to have one member of each pavement marking crew certified
through the NCDOT pavement marking technician certification process. Certified
Contractors will have a laminated wallet card and this should be requested
on-site for verification.
Traffic Engineering Branch will be having a Pavement Marking Rodeo every year to continue to certify contractors, municipalities and NCDOT personnel. All inquires for certification should be directed to Mrs. McDiarmid, in the Traffic Control, Marking & Delineation Section. |
