The draw shall open on signal except that the draw may remain closed from Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for pleasure vessels. However, the draw shall open at 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for any vessel waiting to pass. The draw may remain closed on Sundays and Federal holidays from May 24 through September 8 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for pleasure vessels except that the draw shall open on the hour and half hour for any vessels waiting to pass. The draw on this bridge shall always open on signal for public vessels of the United States, State, or local vessels used for public safety,tugs with tows, and vessels in distress.
