The link to access ASTM and AASHTO on-line documents has moved from the Materials and Tests Unit's homepage to the DOT Portal. This link was placed behind the Portal to ensure access by DOT employees only.

The contract with IHS, Inc. to provide this subscription service gives all DOT employees the right to view, save and print any AASHTO documents.

Sharing these documents with anyone who is not a DOT employee is forbidden by copyright law.

To access the documents, go to NCDOT Intranet - NCDOT Portal Page using Internet Explorer, enter User Name and Password, click "TEAMS", "DOH", "OPERATIONS", "MATERIALS & TESTS".

A link to the ONLINE STANDARDS is on this page. This will automatically log you into the web site for access to ASTM and AASHTO documents that are included in our subscription.
