The link to access ASTM and AASHTO on-line documents has moved from the Materials and Tests Unit's homepage to the DOT Portal. This link was placed behind the Portal to ensure access by DOT employees only. The contract with IHS, Inc. to provide this subscription service gives all DOT employees the right to view, save and print any ASTM or AASHTO document, however, sharing these documents with anyone who is not a DOT employee is forbidden by copyright law.

To access the document, go to the Portal at "https://intranet.dot.state.nc.us/Portal/" using Internet Explorer, select "Groups", then "Materials and Tests", then "ONLINE STANDARDS (IHS Login)". This will automatically log you into the web site for access to ASTM and AASHTO documents that are included in our subscription.
