Geopavement Section
Chemical Stabilization of Subgrades and Bases
The Geopavement section provides design and monitoring services with
respect to the chemical stabilization of subgrades and bases. For nearly twenty years, the
section has offered training in the area of stabilization to NCDOT division construction personnel.
In response to increased work load and the rise of design build, the Geopavement section is now
offering classes to not only NCDOT personnel but to private industry personnel as well.
