NCDOT Chemically Stabilized Subgrade/Base Essentials

Fee: $100
PDH's: 5.0 hrs
NCDOT Competency Based Pay (GEO 155): 7hrs
NCDOT Skill Based Pay (GEO 155): 7 hrs
Length: 7 hrs

Goal: To provide Quality Control knowledge and skills concerning chemical stabilization of subgrades and bases.

Based on specifications and years of experience, Chemically Stabilized Subgrade/Base Essentials provides a Technician with quality control knowledge in the area of cement, lime and cement treated base stabilization. This full day class presents specification and insights critical to a successful stabilization campaign.
Steps to register for Essentials:

  1. Read Certification Enrollment Procedures
  2. Check schedule 1Excel Iconfor available classes.
  3. Fill out reserve seat form and email, multiple seats can be reserved.
  4. Fill out and mail application form for each attendee.
    Important: : If registration form is not received within 20 days of reservation, cancellation of reservation will occur.

A notification by email as well as USPS with confirmation of registration should arrive within two weeks of mailing of registration. If notification is not received within two weeks of registration mailing please contact the GEU Unit.
