Windows Explorer


OPENING EXPLORER

Open by right click on My Computer and select Explorer from the menu
OR
Hold shift key and double-click My Computer.

There's more than two ways, but these are the quickest. You can also create a shortcut on your desktop or QuickLaunch bar. too.

One more: If you keyboard has a "windows" button, Press Windows button + E.


MULTIPLE FILE SELECTION.

Multiple files can be selected by using the Shift and CTRL keys. However, multiple selection can also be done by drawing a rectangle around desired files. Simply click to the right of the first file, hold the button and drag the rectangle to include the desired files.


COPY OR MOVING FILES

Try using the right mouse button to pick up files or groups of files. When the files are dropped, a menu pops up with Copy Here and Move Here options. When copying files within the same directory (or folder), the quickest way is to pick up the file with the right mouse button and drop it in the same directory, then choose "Copy Here" from the pop-up menu. The copy will have to be renamed.

Using the right mouse button for copy and move is generally quicker and easier.
