Connecting New Print Queues.

1. Click Start and Run ...
2. In the Open text field, type \\dot-ccpp01, and click OK.
3.Choose the appropriate printer according to the assigned Project Engineer's group number by double clicking on the printer queue name. Below is a chart of the appropriate printer queue names according to the assigned PE group number.

double click on the .vbs file locted under each Project Engineer folder on the S: drive



This will automatically load all the print quesues for you in your squad

Note that each person's log-in profile should have at least five (5) or (6) print/plot queues connected.

Optional Printer Connection (connect as needed)

For full size plots to the Oce-34 plotter (plans, profiles, and cross sections( xpl));

1. Open Mapdrive.
2. Select the first TIP.
3. Navigate to the location of the full size IPS file. Usually the location of the full size IPS files are located in the R:\Roadway\iFiles\FullSize folder.
4. Double click on the full size IPS file to activate it.
5 When prompted with a message like this;

click Yes.
6. Check to see the Scale column in Iplot Organizer to see if the scale for each plot is to an even number and it has not been changed.
7. Select File, Print Setup..., and choose RD-Oce34 for the plotter.

8. Save the IPS File and Exit out of Iplot Organizer.
9. If there are more full size IPS files, then repeat procedure starting from step number seven (7).
10. Go map to Mapdrive and choose the next TIP.
11. Repeat these steps(from 1 - 10) until the last TIP full size IPS file has been modified .

For half size plots to the 5200b plotter (plans, profiles, and cross sections( xpl));

1. Click Start, Settings, and Printers.
2. Right click on the "RD[group #]-5200b on dot-ccpp01" plotter and choose Set as Default Printer. Refer to the above chart to see what your group # is. Note the "check" icon to the upper left corner of the plotter name indicating that it is the default printer.
3. Open Mapdrive.

4. Select the first TIP.
6. Navigate to the location of the half size IPS file. Usually the location of the half size IPS files are located in the R:\Roadway\iFiles\HalfSize folder.
7. Double click on the half size IPS file to activate it.
8 When prompted with message like this;

click Yes.
9. Check to see the Scale column in Iplot Organizer to see if the scale for each plot is to an even number and it has not been changed.
10. Select File, Print Setup..., and choose RD[group #]-5200b for the plotter.

11. Save the IPS File and Exit out of Iplot Organizer.
12. If there are more half size IPS files, then repeat procedure starting from step number seven (7).
13. Go map to Mapdrive and choose the next TIP.
14. Repeat these steps(from 1 - 13) until the last TIP half size IPS file has been modified .

When all IPS files have been modified. Restore the default printer back to the group's Postscript printer queue.
