Roadway Design Computer Training Information and Requests
Roadway Design is committed to developing effective CADD training and support for the Department of Transportation and
private engineering firms. Our objective is to develop a high level of competency and confidence in the every day use of
MicroStation, Geopak and other CADD software programs.
This course material is designed to be combined into one "Roadway Design CADD Manual"
that can be updated with revisions and updates as they are released.

CADD Training
The NCDOT CADD IT Unit also provides beginning CADD training curriculum for NCDOT employees.

In order to take a class you must first complete a
CADD request form and submit to us via email to
RoadwaySupport.
You will need to following information in the request for us to submit:
- Your immediate supervisor must approve AND copied on the email request;
- Class Name,
- Date of Class,
- and Location of Class.
PC Training
If you are interested in Microsoft Office productivity tools such as Windows, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, or Access, check out NCDOT's course outlines and schedules at
PC Training Unit
If you find a class you would like to enroll, please submit a request via email to
RoadwaySupport.
