The Standard Overhang Falsework sheets will assist contractors in determining overhang falsework bracket spacing for bridges utilizing AASHTO Types III - VI girders.
Contractors may use the electronic Overhang Bracket Summary Form when they choose to utilize the instructions and procedures described on Sheet 1 of 3 of the Standard Overhang Falsework sheets.

Timber Strut spacing and matching #5 ties (Sheet 3) must be determined separately.
1. Record all required information on the Overhang Bracket Summary form per the instructions
on sheet 1 of 3 of the Standard Overhang Falsework.
2. Print the filled in form on your local workstation.
3. Submit the completed form and calculations for review and approval, email electronic submittals to
