| SUBJECT: | DATA FOR STEEL GIRDER BRIDGES |
At the request of the Construction Unit, for steel bridges with any span longer than 100 ft. (30.5 m), deflection, camber, and bottom of slab elevation data shall be provided at twentieth points. Likewise, for steel bridges with any span longer than 200 ft. (61 m), these data shall be provided at thirtieth points.
This policy is effective as soon as is practicable but no later than the August 2001 letting. NCBDS, the NCBDS Manual, and the Design Manual will be updated at a later date.
