Description: WRIGHT BROTHERS MEMORIAL SCULPTURE - DARE COUNTY LOCATION: Wright Brothers National Memorial, Kill Devil Hills
ITEM(S) OF INTEREST: Sculpture was commissioned for the 2003 centennial celebration of the Wright Brothers flight. DOT Structure Design personnel performed the structural design of the full-scale airplane sculpture.

Stainless steel appeared to have weathered slightly.
