Item(s) of Interest Future bridge replacement at a location where the river makes an oxbow. Challenge will be to minimize encroachment into the river. Bridge design is still ongoing - to be let in December 2007. Structure will be cored slabs consisting of 4 - 50' spans. Variety of Environmental issues - top down construction will be utilized. Had difficulty meeting CAMA requirements for runoff. A historic farm is located nearby. Observations and Points of Discussion: Site has difficult geometry due to the ox-bow/switchback in the river.
