This plan is a joint effort between the Union County, the Rocky River Rural Planning Organization and NCDOT. This plan will provide an update to the existing Union County 1992 Thoroughfare Plan.   The new Comprehensive Transportation Plan area will consist of the area outside the boundaries of the current Mecklenburg-Union Metropolitan Planning Organization planning area boundary.  The local elected officials, board members and citizens will provide input on the development of the plan.
