Traffic Forecasting

Project Level Traffic Forecasting is an essential part of the planning process. The Traffic Forecasting Units have the primary responsibility of developing future traffic estimates for projects that are listed in the State's Transportation Improvement Program. These projects include proposed roads, improvements of existing roads and intersections, and bridge improvements programmed for implementation over the next seven years.
