"Committed" for this alternative is defined as those improvements contained in the financially constrained long-range transportation plans (LRTPs), the state's Transportaton Improvement Program (TIP), and local capital improvement programs. For the sections of US 64 and NC 49 proper through the study area, the only committed projects are those in the state's TIP for Fiscal Years (FY) 2004-2010.
