French Broad River
Metropolitan Planning Organization
The French Broad River MPO
is the transportation planning agency serving the
urbanized areas of Buncombe County, Haywood County, and Henderson
County. This organization, formerly known as the Asheville Area MPO,
was expanded to 18 local governments in 2003 as a result of the 2000
Census.
