Johnston County Transportation Plan Study

This plan is a joint effort between Johnston County, the municipalities of Benson, Clayton, Four Oaks, Kenly, Micro, Pine Level, Prineton, Selma, Smithfield, Wilson Mills, the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Upper Coast Plain Rural Planning Organization, and NCDOT.

This plan will provide an update to the existing Thoroughfare Plans and Comprehensive Plans in the County. It should create a unified and coordinated plan for Johnston County.

A Transportation Survey is being taken at this time with responses due by September 30, 2009.
