Town of Beulaville Comprehensive Transportation Plan Study
In January of 2009, the NC DOT – Transportation Planning Branch began a Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) study for the Town of Beulaville. This study is intended to produce a long range planning document that will assist local governments and its representatives in making transportation decisions in the next 25-30 years. The plan is a joint effort between the Town of Beulaville, the Eastern Carolina Rural Planning Organization (RPO), and the NC DOT.
A CTP committee was created in February of 2009 comprising of individuals with interest in representing Beulaville and its need for an improved transportation system. This committee is composed of representatives from the Town, NC DOT, Eastern Carolina RPO, and citizens.
Currently the committee is working on finalizing a DRAFT Modeled Roadways Network, developing a Vision and Goals Statement, and a Public Participation Plan and the Goals and Objectives Survey.
