OUR MISSION

To provide quality geographic information and services supporting the business process of the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) as well as for the transportation related functions of North Carolina state agencies, local governments, and other planning organizations.

OUR GOALS

To become a national leader in Transportation GIS
To maintain a comprehensive and useful road inventory of all roads in North Carolina
Provide highly available and useful geospatial information
Improve service to the public with improved information access
Integration of GIS with existing and planned information systems
To work cooperatively with other North Carolina state, county, and local agencies
Foster a skilled support staff to develop, enhance, and maintain GIS elements
