This 1.67 mile streetscape in downtown Asheville provides handicapped accessible pedestrian walks through the center city. Amenities include landscaping, lighting stations and artwork depicting the history of the development of the city. This project is one of Asheville's many urban attractions.
This project expanded the sidewalks in downtown Winston-Salem adding room for landscaping, urban art, and outdoor restaurant seating. A key component in the city's revitalization plan, the streetscape has assisted in attracting millions of dollars in urban private investment.
