Rehabilitation of Historic Transportation Facilities
Objective
This category is intended to preserve historic transportation buildings, structures, or facilities that are part of the surface transportation system. Rehabilitation and restoration of these types of historic properties can be accomplished by returning the property to a condition that makes a contemporary use possible, while preserving the significant historic features of the property. Furthermore, all proposed projects must either be listed on, or eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.

Costs associated with the contemporary upgrades of water, electric, heating, air conditioning, etc., when appropriate, to make building viable for public use |
