An inventory of environmental resources in the project area was developed to evaluate impacts of the Northern Durham Parkway and to determine permit requirements.
As part of the project scoping process, a letter was sent to the following local officials and federal and state regulatory/resource agencies to request comments concerning the impacts of the Northern Durham Parkway:
- US Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 Permit
- NC Section 401 Water Quality Certification Permit
- Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act Compliance
- Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act
- US Army Corps of Engineers Replacement Lands
