The hearing maps showing the preferred alternative for each section are accessed by clicking on the applicable section of the map above.  To view other U-2579A alternatives, click here.

These files best if viewed in Internet Explorer. File sizes vary from 1 MB to 4 MB. Some may take a while to open. If you are having difficulty accessing these files, please contact Mr. Larry Meisner, PE at (919) 677-2079 or call the toll-free line at 866-223-0862.

The files are in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format and require the one-time download and installation of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Once Acrobat is loaded, you will be able to access and search the maps for text such as property owner names. To search for text on the maps:

1. Zoom in to a readable scale (type in the % zoom or use the magnifying glass).
2. Click on the binoculars icon (a search window will appear on the right side).
3. Type in the keyword, such as a property owner last name or street name, in the space provided.
4. All occurrences of that keyword will be listed in the search window.
5. Click on each occurrence and the map window will move to that occurrence.
