The Hearings Section ensures a fair and impartial hearings process for employee grievances. DOT has an in-house hearings process where a peer hearings committee listens to testimony, evidence, and recommends appropriate action to the Secretary of Transportation. The Section also ensures that mandated response and disposition times for hearings and grievances are followed.
