Who Can Represent the Grievant

Attorneys cannot participate at a hearing in any capacity. Employees may represent themselves or may be represented by another Department of Transportation employee (excluding Human Resources Representatives) in an Employee Relations Committee Hearing. In a Performance Management (PM) Hearing, employees may represent themselves or choose not to appear and have the matter reviewed on documentation provided.
