| Observe Time Limit Restrictions
Dismissal and demotion hearings must be completed within 90 calendar days. All other Employee Relations Committee Hearings must be completed within 120 calendar days. These time limits begin the day the request for a hearing is stamped "Received" in the Human Resources Director's Office.
The Secretary of Transportation must render a final decision within 20 calendar days from the date of the Employee Relations Committee Hearing. The final decision on a Performance Management Hearing must be rendered within 30 calendar days from the date of the Performance Management Hearing.
