Each year since 1980, the Division of Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation has produced a calendar listing major bicycle races, tours, centuries, bi- and triathlons, mountain bike events and club rides that take place in North Carolina.
Again, this year we will focus our efforts on providing a continuously updated online Calendar of Bicycle Events. Please click here and fill out the submission form as completely as possible. Please submit a separate form for each event. If your event runs more than once during the year fill out separate entries for each date. When listing dates enter month/date/year, since entries are still being accepted for 2008, along with 2009. We request that you submit your events by November 29, 2008, to give your event maximum exposure time and to give participants enough time to plan. All entries will be gathered and combined into the online calendar that will appear live, January 1, 2009. Entries received after the November date will be added in a first come, first serve order, after all other entries for the 2009 Calendar of Bicycle Events have been posted.
