This site presents all types of helpful information about North Carolina events, sights to see, accommodations among other things. Its search engine allows you to search for information that may not be readily apparent.

NC Division of Parks & Recreation
This division’s website has information about state parks with trails for mountain biking along with hours of operation, regulations, and other important data. Just click on the park you’re interested in.

NC FATS Mountain Bike Club
This site is for NC FATS Mountain Bike Club, which provides a list of mountain bike trails in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) and a few events in different parts of North Carolina. This site may not be accessible through all browsers.

Online Resource for Mountain Biking in Western North Carolina
This site calls itself the Online Resource for Mountain Biking in Western North Carolina. The different sections of the site include Trailheads, Area Information (such as bike shops, weather, geography and camping/lodging), Maps, Best Rides, Image Gallery, and Clubs and Organizations.

Triangle Trails
This site lists off-road and single-track trails in the Triangle area of North Carolina (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill). It also has numerous links to information about trails in other parts of North Carolina.

Tsali Recreation Area

Uwharrie Mountain Bike Association (UMBA)
The Uwharrie Mountain Bike Association (pronounced "UM-bah") has been working since January, 1996 to establish and develop mountain bike riding opportunities in central North Carolina’s Uwharrie National Forest. Their site provides information about the Wood Run Mountain Bike Trail System, other trails in the Uwharrie area, and information about mountain bike events.
